As a fyi, we have created an online Library for SharkSQL Documentation and Resources for current and future SharkSQL manuals, presentations, whitepapers, YouTube videos, tools, sample config, test files and related materials.

As a heads up, the SharkSQL Management Guide is expected to be available in the August 2026 timeframe. When available, it will be posted to the Documentation and Resources library.

In the meantime, assuming you are using a minimum of SharkSQL v5.0-4, you can also review the following:

1. How to access a SharkSQL database from DCL, take a look at the script SHARKSQL$EXAMPLES:PERSONNEL.COM and the comments inside this script. The associated README file is in the SharkSQL Documentation and Resource Library
2. For database configuration, see the comments in the data definition file SHARKSQL$EXAMPLES:PERSONNEL.SQL
3. For CSQL programming, see the comments in the CSQL module SHARKSQL$EXAMPLES:PERSONNEL.CSQL
